Scanning Technology
The Toucan uses a hybrid structured-light system supported by four depth cameras and a 48-megapixel RGB camera for color capture. It supports continuous handheld scanning, fixed-position scanning, and single-shot photo scanning, making it suitable for a wide range of objects.

Accuracy and Resolution
Single-frame accuracy reaches up to 0.03 mm for small and close-range objects, and around 0.10 mm for larger or more distant objects. Detail resolution can reach approximately 0.05 mm in small-object mode, with up to 0.10 mm resolution in wide-area mode.

Working Distance and Coverage
The optimal working distance ranges from about 200 mm to 1000 mm. In small-object mode, the capture area per frame is roughly 135 × 185 mm, while the wide-object mode can capture up to around 1000 × 750 mm per frame. This enables the Toucan to scan small items as well as large multi-meter objects.

Scan Speed
Captures up to around 15 frames per second, supporting smooth handheld scanning and stable data acquisition.

Processing Hardware
Equipped with an internal 8-core 2.4 GHz processor, Mali-G52 GPU, 32 GB DDR4 memory, and 256 GB eMMC storage. The scanner performs data processing, alignment, and meshing directly on the device without the need for an external computer.

Connectivity
Features Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and USB-C for flexible transfer, remote control, or external device access.

Comes with a built-in battery optimized for mobile and wireless scanning workflows. Suitable for both studio use and field scanning.
