Stylish prints are just a few clicks away. You can access the underlying parameters and have full control over the machining process as always.

Faster and Easier

Thanks to the optimized transmission system and motion control algorithm, the Artisan has a dimensional accuracy of ± 0.1 mm when printing at a high speed of 180 mm/s. It is not only the printing speed that is faster, but the change between tool heads and hotends is now both faster and easier. Quick change platforms and tool heads allow you to switch between the three functions, printing, laser cutting and CNC cutting in less than a minute. In addition, Luban recognizes the size and type of nozzles and offers you custom configurations, so you can easily manufacture your prototypes, high-strength parts, or whatever is needed for your projects. The Dual Extrusion 3D Printing Module also has a built-in motor to automatically lift and switch between two extruders, without additional tool head movement or gear shifting. This enables faster and quieter dual extrusion 3D printing.

Dissolvable and interruptible support printing

The Artisan is equipped with a dual-extrusion 3D printing module that supports PVA, HIPS and other dissolvable materials. Simply soak the print to dissolve the supports and leave the model with a smooth surface finish. Complex geometry is no longer a problem. Interruptible filament provides the same support as regular materials but is much easier to remove without the need for additional post-processing.

Save time and effort with zone heated bed and easy calibration

In the center of the Artisan heated bed is a 260 x 260 mm high temperature zone (also called the inner zone) which can reach 110 °C, while the highest temperature in the outer zone is 80 °C. While your model is placed in the inner zone, which heats up to 60 °C in just 2-3 minutes, the outer zone is not heated, saving time and energy. The Artisan can automatically level the heated bed and calibrate the Z offset of the two extruders, then calibrate the XY offset using a semi-automatic program. In three steps, you can enjoy double-material printing or two-color printing with perfect adhesion and alignment.

Not only about strength, but also about finesse

The laser module has a high power of 10 W and an ultra-fine laser focus (0.05 mm × 0.2 mm) using laser beam splitters and optics for beam shaping. This enables high-quality laser work with impeccable detail.

Your safety is in good hands

The capsule's door detector allows the Artisan to automatically stop the laser or CNC job when any door is opened. The laser module contains a gyro sensor that ensures that no laser beam comes out if the module deviates from its intended position. We also embed an emergency stop button in the control unit. In addition, the process paused by the button can be resumed. The laser module automatically stops working when its temperature sensor detects a higher than normal operating temperature (a temperature exceeding 55 °C/131 °F).
